Born in a small Texas town, Calla Hayes has spent her twenties chasing horizons—through neon-lit cities, Appalachian valleys, and the quiet spaces in between.
Calla's songs begin where the postcard version of country life ends. They follow the people who leave familiar roads, carry old conversations across state lines, make the wrong choice on purpose, and slowly discover that belonging is not the same as going back.
With a voice that balances vulnerability and grit, she bridges classic country storytelling with folk detail, modern atmosphere, and cinematic scale. Her debut album, Everywhere Isn't Texas, is the first chapter of that journey.
The road in Calla's music is not an escape hatch. It is a place to think—long enough for certainty to loosen, memory to settle, and a truer idea of home to come into view.
